Beautiful nails can still be badly done.

A polished finish does not tell you what happened underneath it.

Nailed Properly helps you understand the preparation, products, application, removal and care that protect the natural nail before problems appear.

Genuinely beautiful nails begin with knowing what you are doing.

Beauty is visible.
Good technique is not.

What appearance cannot tell you

What looks good today may not tell you what happens next.

A nail can look neat, glossy and professionally finished.

But appearance alone cannot tell you:

Was the natural nail prepared correctly?
Was too much of the natural nail removed?
Were the products suitable and compatible?
Will removal protect or damage the nail underneath?
The finish matters. What happens underneath it matters too.

The knowledge behind the result

The bottle is not the qualification. The knowledge is.

Good products matter. But a respected brand name cannot correct poor preparation, unsuitable application, careless removal or a lack of understanding.

The result depends on the knowledge of the person using the product.

Nailed Properly is not about making nails less beautiful. It is about making beauty more informed.
Meet Yvonne Marais

More than four decades behind one simple principle

Yvonne began her professional nail education in 1983.

Since then, she has worked with salons, students, technicians, clients, products and changing nail systems. She has seen attractive work that was technically sound. She has also seen attractive work that caused problems later.

You do not have to host

You can join a Nail Table

Some women want to attend without organising a group. They can add their details to Yvonne’s private waiting list.

1

Join an existing host’s table

When a suitable place becomes available, Yvonne may offer it to a waiting-list attendee with the host’s permission.

2

Attend a table hosted by Yvonne

Yvonne may combine interested individuals into a Nail Table that she hosts herself. In this model, there is no separate host payment.

Group size and transfers

What happens if six people are not yet confirmed?

A Nail Table requires at least six paying participants.

If fewer than six people are confirmed, the host may move the workshop to another date, allow Yvonne to offer suitable waiting-list attendees available places, or transfer the group into another available Nail Table.

Workshop places are transfer-led. Payments remain valid for another available date, while any cancellation charge or refund will be handled in line with the published policy and applicable law.
